Nutrition and physical activity in everyday life
Moving regularly changes everyday needs: enough energy, regular meals and adapted hydration. This support is for active adults, not for competition preparation or sports performance.

Eating enough when you are active
In active adults, energy intake is more often insufficient than excessive, especially when a weight-loss goal is layered onto frequent activity. This can affect fatigue, sleep and, in women, the menstrual cycle.
- Intake matched to your real activity level
- Regular meals and protein spread across the day
- Hydration adapted to duration and heat
- Critical review of supplements already used
What the first consultation evaluates
The assessment covers your usual physical activity (type, frequency, duration), the real rhythm of your days, digestive tolerance during exercise and your current intake before and after sessions. The aim is simple: to check that you eat and drink enough for what you do.
- Energy intake sufficient for your usual activity
- Hydration adapted to session length and heat
- Workable meal timing around sessions
- Protein spread across the day and general recovery
Framework and limits of the support
The practice neither sells nor recommends supplements, does not provide competition preparation and does not handle training planning, which is your coach’s role. A prolonged energy deficit, repeated injuries, amenorrhoea or a strained relationship with food warrant medical advice.
What belongs to your physician
Diagnosis, tests and medical treatment remain your doctor's responsibility. Dietetic support adapts to them and, with your agreement, a report is sent to your doctor.
The day around a session
- 1
Before: an easily digested meal or snack
- 2
During: drink enough
- 3
After: a complete meal in the following hours
