About the practice

Three offices in Luxembourg

The practice welcomes patients across Luxembourg from three offices. The main office is in Luxembourg-City. It sits at 74 Avenue de la Faïencerie, in Limpertsberg. It opens on Wednesdays from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. It is a short walk from the University of Luxembourg. Bus lines 3, 21 and 25 stop close by. Public parking is nearby at Glacis and Faïencerie.

Ettelbruck office

The Ettelbruck office is at 25 Grand-Rue, in the pedestrian centre. It opens on Tuesdays from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. It serves the north of Luxembourg. It is a short drive for people in Diekirch, Erpeldange, Feulen, Warken and Schieren. It also suits patients in Colmar-Berg, Vichten, Mertzig, Grosbous and Rambrouch. Belgian border patients from Bastogne, Neufchâteau, Libramont and Marche-en-Famenne can come too. Their INAMI fund covers the visit under EU cross-border rules.

Insenborn office

The Insenborn office is at 15 Burwiss, by the Upper Sûre Lake. It opens on Monday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. On Saturdays it opens from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The Saturday slot suits working patients. This office serves Wiltz, Esch-sur-Sûre, Lultzhausen, Kaundorf, Bavigne and Boulaide. Child visits take place here in a family setting. Common topics are child weight, growth and food allergies.

Credentials and CNS accreditation

Gabriela Ferent runs every visit herself. She is a state-certified dietitian-nutritionist. She is licensed by the Luxembourg Ministry of Health. Her licence follows the law of 8 June 1999 on health jobs. She is a member of the ANDL, the national dietitian body. The practice is under contract with the CNS. On a doctor's prescription, the CNS pays 88% for adults. It pays 100% for children and for long-term conditions.

CNS-covered indications

The CNS covers many health goals. Type 1 and type 2 diabetes are on the list. So is obesity, at a BMI of 30 or more. A BMI of 27 also counts if you have a heart or metabolic risk. Eating disorders are covered too. High blood pressure and high cholesterol are on the list. So are kidney disease at stages 3 to 5, and dialysis. Cancer support and weight-loss surgery follow-up are covered. IgE food allergies, coeliac disease and IBD (Crohn's, ulcerative colitis) also qualify.

Evidence-based method

The method is strictly science-based. Advice draws on EFSA, ANSES and HAS guidelines. It also draws on the SFD, the ESC, ESPEN and the WCRF. Each plan is built for the person in front of us. It fits your medical, family and work life. It follows GDPR and full professional secrecy at all times.

Transparency commitment

The practice is fully transparent. No supplements are sold here. No protein powders, meal replacements or detox packs either. No pills, no branded gear, no add-ons. There are no deals with drug makers or supplement brands. There are no deals with weight-loss brands or shops. The only income comes from clear, published consultation fees.

Cross-border patients

Cross-border patients are welcome. French patients come from Metz, Thionville, Longwy and Verdun. Belgian patients come from Arlon, Bastogne, Virton and Neufchâteau. German patients come from Trier, Saarbrücken, Bitburg and Merzig. Their home fund covers the visit: CPAM in France, INAMI in Belgium, or the German Krankenkasse. EU rule 883/2004 makes this possible. Invoices carry every field needed for fast repayment: your name, insurance ID, ICD-10 code, date, duration, CNS act code, stamp and signature.
