Method and sources
This approach draws on intuitive eating principles (Tribole & Resch) and on cognitive behavioural therapy</b> applied to eating behaviour: taking a moment to observe a craving before responding to it automatically.
This tool does not infer any deficiency (magnesium, serotonin, dopamine, cortisol) from the type of food craved: these links, often seen online, are not supported by the scientific literature.
Sources: Tribole E., Resch E., Intuitive Eating, 4th ed., 2020; HAS — Bulimia and binge eating disorder: identification and general management, 2019.
Clinical methodology: the reading grid draws on validated models of emotional eating and eating behaviour, and on conventioned dietetic practice in Luxembourg (CNS–ANDL convention). No supplement or meal replacement is recommended.
