The analysis is included at no extra cost during in-person consultations when clinically indicated and in the absence of contraindications. CNS reimbursement applies to the regulated dietetic consultation when applicable.

Preparing well for the measurement
- Avoid intense physical activity just before the consultation.
- Avoid heavy alcohol consumption the day before.
- Use the toilet before the measurement if possible.
- To compare several measurements, try to keep similar conditions from one consultation to the next.
- Mention medications or situations that may significantly affect hydration.
The measurement should not be performed in certain situations
- Pregnancy.
- Presence of an implanted or essential wearable electronic medical device, e.g. a pacemaker.
- Broken or irritated skin at the electrode contact points.
- Any other situation in which the dietitian judges that the measurement is not appropriate.

No. The current used is very low intensity and completely imperceptible. The measurement is painless and requires no needles or products.
